We are pleased to announce we will be donating a percentage of July sales to one of our favorite, local organizations, Second Chance Human Society.
Second Chance has served the Ouray, San Miguel, and Montrose County communities and beyond since 1994, addressing the needs of homeless pets in Southwestern Colorado.
Connecting Pets, People & Community While Saving Lives
Second Chance's mission is “Connecting pets, people & community while saving lives”; and their belief is “People & pets live better together.” We fully agree and are honored to help support their important work.
Second Chance offers many shelter programs and services and implements effective education and prevention programs. Second Chance is a true Animal Resource Center, offering many services beyond rescuing homeless pets.
People & Pets Really Do Live Better Together
In addition to financial donations, there are a number of volunteer opportunities that greatly help support their work. Also, Second Chance owns and operates thrift shops in Ridgeway and Telluride. The Second Chance Thrift Shops generate up to 73% of the organization’s operating revenue.
